WWE Legend King Kong Bundy reportedly passed away at the age of 61 on Monday.
The news was first reported by wrestling promoter David Herro on Twitter. WWE producer Shane Helms also commented on Bundy’s passing. Herro confirmed the passing with Bundy’s family, and we have confirmed that with Herro.
There’s no word yet on what led to Bundy’s passing or when exactly it happened, but we will keep you updated. There was activity on Bundy’s Twitter account plugging an appearance at Blizzard Brawl on Monday evening but that could’ve been someone else running his account. Herro announced Bundy’s passing around 2.5 hours after the tweet was made on Bundy’s account.
