BREAKING: WWE Announces the Return of Superstar Shake-Up

During a commercial that aired in Canada, Scott Stamford announced that there will be a first-ever “International Superstar Shakeup” and it will take place on April 15 and 16 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. This would be a week after WrestleMania.

It’s interesting that they are using “international” as part of the advertising as that could mean that the Shakeup will include wrestlers from NXT in the United States and the United Kingdom.

This Shakeup should be very newsworthy because the rosters will determine who will be featured on SmackDown Live when the show moves to the FOX Network in the Fall. WWE needs to get ratings up for that show and loading that show with more top names is one of the things that they will do to achieve that.
