– WWE.com confirmed Aiden English versus Tye Dillinger will take place on the WWE Battleground Kickoff show this Sunday in Philadelphia. The following preview was issued:
At WWE Battleground, The Perfect 10 will once again attempt to topple The Drama King, when Tye Dillinger battles Aiden English at WWE Battleground Kickoff, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network and on a free stream on WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest.
Dillinger has been on a roll as of late, not only fighting his way to the final three of the special Independence Day Battle Royal on SmackDown LIVE, but also giving WWE Champion Jinder Mahal a run for his money in a one-on-one blue brand contest on July 11. Like him or hate him, English is as dangerous as he is emotional. Could Sunday be the day that The Artiste finally brings the curtain down on Dillinger’s fairytale story?
WWE Battleground has yet to sell out, despite WWE dropping ticket prices for the event. Now, WWE has John Cena putting out an important message to “Everyone on the internet” to get to Philadelphia and watch him defeat Rusev in a Flag match.
