It was previously reported that Tyson Kidd would not be featured at all on this season of Total Divas, and Kidd originally broke the news and said he didn’t think “they [WWE] would want my situation explained.”
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting WWE’s directive to producers was to remove Kidd from the show because he’s not an active roster member, but notes Eva Marie’s husband, Jonathan Coyle, is not under contract but will appear in one of the episodes coming up this season. The situation is a touchy issue because of the severity of Kidd’s injury, and due to Natalya working there, but the Observer says it was said a few months ago to not shoot any footage with Kidd and to not feature him in any scenes, which is another awkward situation because they film scenes with Natalya in their home.
