Goldberg Talks “Killing” Lesnar at WrestleMania, Possibly Returning to WWE, Heading to NYC This Weekend

As noted, Bill Goldberg made an appearance at Gamecom in Cologne, Germany today, and while he was there he participated in a fan Q&A which you can watch in full in the embed video at the bottom. Below are some highlights.

On WWE 2K17, Goldberg says he should be on the cover of the game as he “killed the guy that’s on the cover,” referring to defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20.

Goldberg did confirm he will be heading to NYC for SummerSlam weekend, but noted that’s all he can say about that. When the fans began to chant “please come back” Goldberg said you can never say never, and even at his age he has no problem putting his wrestling gear on and ripping people’s faces off again. He added he just needs the opportunity, and if the fans keep doing what they’re doing it’ll happen.

On potentially facing Brock Lesnar, Goldberg admits the two of them did not have the best match at WrestleMania 20, but he said Lesnar knows Goldberg’s power, and what’s missing for Lesnar right now is for an opponent to give him the kind of fight he likes to give everyone else. Goldberg said Lesnar knows what would happen if the two of them faced each other again, and it would be the same thing that happened at WrestleMania 20:
