The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega lost the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Championships at last night’s NJPW Kizuna Road event, with Matt Sydal, Ricochet and Kojima becoming new champions. The trio wore WWE brand New Day merch down to the ring, emulating their entrance.
After dropping the titles, the Bucks posted the following video on YouTube, blaming Kenny Omega and his obsession with the New Day for the loss, stating “New Day sucks, and if you don’t think so, maybe you suck too”. They then cornered Omega – the current Bullet Club leader – and proceeded to chant “New Day Sucks” at him, before walking out. Of course, this is all in good fun and not in any way a part of any actual New Japan storylines, but the online feud between these two teams has been more entertaining than most angles in wrestling recently.
