– John Cena claimed in an interview during WrestleMania 32 week that he has been cleared to return to the ring, and was just waiting for “the call” from WWE to return.
It appears at the time as if John Cena was not actually fully cleared to return to the ring, but was healthy enough to get clearance to participate in the angle with The Rock and The Wyatt Family at ‘Mania.
The latest on John Cena’s status is that he will be fully cleared to return to the ring in May, but not likely in time for Payback on May 1st.
– As noted, there are plans in place for a Shane McMahon vs The Authority story line on WWE TV, and it was rumored to kickoff on Raw this past Monday night. While that didn’t happen, it’s being said the plans are still in place for the feud, and as of now it looks like it will begin sometime in early May.
