It appears WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor suffered a left ankle injury at tonight’s NXT live event in Lowell, MA. Multiple fans in attendance noted that Balor looked to roll his ankle, came back up and was clearly hurt. The referee threw up a double “X” and this led to Joe winning the title a minute later, as seen below.
Doctors checked on Balor as Joe celebrated. Stay tuned for more updates.
