Tonight’s WWE SmackDown show is set to eminate from Anaheim, California, and will feature the WWE return of Logan Paul for the first time since SummerSlam.
Also set for the show was a four-way tag team match, pitting the New Day against Los Lotharios, the Street Profits and Alpha Academy, with the winners earning the next shot at the Usos’ Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
Reports emerged earlier that WWE planned on changing the match, replacing Alpha Academy and Los Lotharios with Imperium and the Brawling Brutes.
The change is now official with the match, but the Street Profits are also no longer in the match, being replaced by Hit Row, leaving New Day as the only previously announced team left in the match.
There’s no word yet on why Alpha Academy, Los Lotharios and The Street Profits were replaced, or if they will still work tonight’s show. It was confirmed that Alpha Academy is backstage for the taping.
WWE has also announced that Bayley is set for her first match on SmackDown in over 15 months, when she takes on Raquel Rodriguez, as well as Sami Zayn facing off against Ricochet.
Below is the updated line-up for tonight’s SmackDown:
* Logan Paul returns to WWE TV with a “massive announcement”
* The New Day vs. Imperium vs. Hit Row vs. The Brawling Brutes to determine new #1 contenders to Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos
