An undisputed NXT Women’s Champion will be crowned at Worlds Collide.
On the August 23 episode of WWE NXT 2.0, Blair Davenport defeated Indi Hartwell one week after she arrived on the brand. After the bout, she stated that she was the top contender in NXT UK, so she opted to set her sights on the gold in America. The NXT Women’s Champion, Mandy Rose, came to the ring and told Davenport to put some respect on her name, saying that she’s the most dominant champion around.
NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura came to the ring and said that she, not Rose, is the most dominant champion. Rose responded by saying she wants to get respect by beating a legend like Satomura. They agreed to face off at WWE NXT Worlds Collide, but Davenport interjected by saying that she’s the top contender. Satomura still agreed to the match, and WWE subsequently confirmed the three-way bout.
