– As seen at Friday’s ROH Final Battle event, “Broken” Matt Hardy appeared on the big screen and announced that The Young Bucks would face Jeff and himself at a future Ring of Honor date.
In regards to Matt being cleared by TNA Wrestling to appear at the event, apparently it was down the the last minute before he got the go-ahead to appear on camera. It was described that heading into the show, it was coming down to the wire. It is unknown exactly what TNA is getting out of the deal to have the Hardy’s appear at the event, but it did have to go through the new owners for approval.
We have been informed that the future match between The Hardys and The Young Bucks will take place during WrestleMania weekend in Lakeland, Florida.
– As previously reported, several talents within Ring of Honor contract’s are set to expire at the begining of 2017. We noted how WWE was very interested in signing Adam Cole and has been for some time now.
For those who are hoping that a deal between WWE and Cole would be reach would be sad to find out that his contract with Ring of Honor doesn’t expire until April. If Cole was to come to terms with WWE, we have been told he wouldn’t debut until after WrestleMania, and it wouldn’t be for the main roster either. The company would place him in NXT for a while, until he learned the “WWE-style” of wrestling.
