– This week’s WWE SmackDown, featuring The Miz’s return with fallout from last week’s Superstar Shakeup, drew 2.549 million viewers. This is down 9% from last week’s 2.796 million viewers for the Shakeup episode.
SmackDown was #6 in viewership for the night on cable, behind two airings of the NBA Playoffs, Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Rachel Maddow. SmackDown was #3 in the 18-49 demographic this week, behind the NBA Playoffs.
In comparison, Monday’s RAW drew 3.104 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.622 million viewers for the Superstar Shakeup episode.
– As noted, WWE began airing “coming soon” promos for SAnitY’s Eric Young, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe on this week’s SmackDown. The theme is that they are coming to the blue brand to “purge” the roster. Wolfe and Dain tweeted the following:
