Oba Femi Rejects Paul Heyman And Declares Himself An "Oba Femi Guy" On RAW

The fallout from Money in the Bank brought high drama to the October 12 episode of WWE RAW at the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, highlighted by a definitive statement from King of the Ring winner Oba Femi regarding his future.

Fresh off his dominant victory over Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank premium live event, Femi strutted to the ring to gloat over his performance. Mocking pre-match predictions that Reed’s repeated Tsunami splashes would put him away, Femi made it clear that he stands unmatched on the red brand.

However, his celebration was interrupted by WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman.

Stepping into the ring, Heyman offered high praise for the powerhouse, noting that Femi’s resilience at Money in the Bank—including kicking out of the Tsunami—surpassed even what he accomplished against Brock Lesnar. Framing Femi as the definitive vision of WWE’s future, Heyman appeared poised to pitch a formal alliance.

Before Heyman could finalize the offer, Femi cut him off, snatched the microphone from his hand, and tossed it away.

“With all due respect, I’m not Brock Lesnar, I’m not Roman Reigns,” Femi stated bluntly. “Those were Paul Heyman Guys, but I am an Oba Femi guy.”

Femi then turned and walked away, leaving Heyman alone in the ring. By publicly rejecting the legendary manager, “The Ruler” made it explicitly clear that he intends to pave his own path to the top without a mouthpiece calling the shots.
