Maven Issues Public Apology for Timing of Released Enzo Amore Interview

Former WWE Tough Enough winner and popular YouTube creator Maven Huffman has issued a public statement apologizing to former WWE star Enzo Amore (Eric Arndt) and fans following backlash surrounding the release date of a recently published interview.

The controversy stems from an unreleased sit-down interview conducted in early 2025 where Amore voiced critical opinions regarding All Elite Wrestling’s backstage environment and publicly leaked locker room altercations.

“Fuck AEW for all the pssy ass fighting that they do over there and letting it leak and sht. We are some badasses that you got to keep some credibility in that locker room,” Amore stated during the recorded segment.

The video’s upload triggered swift backlash across social media, as it was published shortly after AEW held a special tribute episode of AEW Dynamite honoring former AEW and WWE star PAC (Benjamin Satterley), who tragically passed away in late September.

Amore took to social media platform X to distance himself from the upload and criticize Maven’s choice of release timing, clarifying that the sit-down conversation was filmed back in March 2025. Amore expressed disappointment that the clip surfaced while friends and former colleagues were actively grieving Satterley’s passing.

In response to the growing criticism, Maven published a statement directly to his YouTube community page, taking accountability for the oversight and offering an apology to Amore and viewers:

“Hey guys, I wanted to address the Enzo Amore video.

First, we want to apologize to Enzo and any fans who were upset or hurt by the timing of our latest upload. Nothing malicious was intended, but looking back, we fully understand why the timing bothered some people. Moving forward, we’ll make sure we’re more mindful about our content and when we release it.

Enzo recorded with us back in 2025, but there was a portion of the interview he later asked us not to release. We honored that request, and because that was a significant part of the original video, the interview ended up sitting unreleased for quite a while. Over time, we heard from viewers who still wanted us to release what we could from the interview.

Last Friday, our regular upload was much shorter than what we normally post, so we felt it was a good opportunity to give you guys a little extra and finally release that version.

Just to be completely clear, the portion Enzo asked us to remove was removed. We honored that request, and it does not appear anywhere in the video.

Again, our apologies. We’re learning from this, and we’ll do better and be more mindful going forward.”
