A return to WWE appears to be on the horizon for Big Cass, with new reports indicating that a reunion with Enzo Amore is being planned once contractual matters are finalized.
According to Fightful Select, Big Bill has informed AEW that he intends to leave the company as his current deal is set to expire within the next week. This development clears the path for a potential WWE comeback, where he is expected to reunite with his longtime tag team partner Enzo Amore. The report also notes that WWE has plans to bring Amore back as well, although he had not officially signed as of mid-June due to the company waiting for Big Bill to become fully available.

Enzo & Cass became one of the standout acts during the early years of NXT before moving to WWE’s main roster. Their popularity with audiences helped them stand out, even though they never captured tag team championship gold during their initial run. Big Bill later found championship success in AEW, where he held titles alongside Ricky Starks.
Big Bill’s journey in wrestling has included several stops since his WWE departure in 2018. He competed in TNA/Impact Wrestling and later joined AEW, where he was involved in multiple storylines. During his time in AEW, he aligned with Chris Jericho as part of The Learning Tree faction and also teamed with Bryan Keith. His most recent in-ring appearance for the company took place on ROH programming in April.
Outside the ring, Big Bill has openly discussed overcoming personal challenges, including a battle with alcoholism that once threatened his career. He is now more than five years sober and has rebuilt his standing in the wrestling industry.
At the time of writing, Big Bill remains listed on AEW’s official roster page, as his contract has not yet fully expired. The 39-year-old, formerly known as Big Cass, is married to AEW broadcast team member Lexy Nair.
While it has not been confirmed which WWE brand the duo would join, current plans point toward Enzo & Cass reuniting once again, marking a notable return for one of the most recognizable teams from their era.
