CM Punk is expanding his acting portfolio once again, securing a supporting role in the upcoming Netflix romantic comedy Guarding Stars.
The film, which is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on Wednesday, November 18, features a star-studded cast led by Jared Padalecki and Leighton Meester, alongside Andie MacDowell and Siobhan Williams. Punk takes on the role of “Doghouse,” described as a physically intimidating, loyal, and humorous member of the security detail.
Netflix officially dropped the first trailer for the feature, giving fans a brief look at Punk across multiple quick shots in the promotional preview.
This marks Punk’s second feature film release of the year, following his appearance as vampire police officer Sergeant Marcus in the horror-thriller Night Patrol, which dropped back in January. It also follows his voice acting work in Zootopia 2, which hit theaters in November 2025.
