Baron Corbin Sidelined Indefinitely Following Brutal Cody Rhodes Punt Kick On WWE SmackDown

A major medical update has emerged regarding Baron Corbin following a vicious assault on last week’s show. The former King of the Ring has been officially sidelined with no definitive timetable for his return to action.

The injury occurred during a chaotic impromptu matchup against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, which also saw heavy interference from Randy Orton. The broadcast concluded in shocking fashion as Rhodes delivered a devastating punt kick directly to Corbin.

On the October 23 episode of WWE SmackDown, commentator Michael Cole delivered the official medical report. WWE doctors confirmed that Corbin sustained a severe cervical muscle strain, an orbital bone contusion, and is currently suffering from blurred vision.

As a result of these multi-layered injuries, management has ruled Corbin out of action indefinitely. It remains to be seen when the veteran performer will receive medical clearance to step back inside a WWE ring.
