WWE SmackDown Results – October 23, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage results of WWE SmackDown on October 23, from the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.
The show opens with Sami Zayn, Candice LeRae, and Johnny Gargano making their way to the ring. Zayn immediately acknowledges the mixed reaction from the crowd, asking if the boos are genuine before joking that he can see plenty of haters in attendance.
Zayn reflects on an eventful week, specifically bringing up his confrontation with Roman Reigns on RAW. He says that being the alpha is not always about being the biggest, but about being the smartest. Zayn points to the Undisputed WWE Championship as proof of his success and reminds everyone that he remains the only man holding that title. He also lists several names currently targeting him, including Kevin Owens, CM Punk, Finn Bálor, and GUNTHER.
Rey Fenix Responds
The segment is interrupted by Rey Fenix, who heads to the ring to address the situation involving his brother, Penta, and the Money in the Bank contract.
Fenix says he still does not know who Penta plans to cash in on and insists he has no answers regarding his brother’s intentions. He makes it clear that he has never had a personal issue with Zayn and considers him a friend.
However, Fenix also makes one thing clear: Penta is family. If Zayn has a problem with his family, then he has a problem with him as well.
The comment immediately agitates Gargano, who steps forward looking ready to escalate the confrontation. Zayn quickly defuses the situation, calming Gargano down and telling Fenix that he has always respected him.
Zayn closes by saying that his issue is not with Fenix, but with people who continue to disrespect him week after week, keeping the verbal confrontation from turning physical.
Trick Williams Demands a Title Opportunity
The opening confrontation takes another turn when Trick Williams makes his way to the ring.
Williams says he has a serious problem with Sami Zayn, accusing the Undisputed WWE Champion of spreading lies about him the previous week. He acknowledges that Zayn was right about one thing: he does not know how to survive. According to Williams, that is because Zayn does not intimidate him.
The United States Champion points to his rapid rise on SmackDown, reminding everyone that he has only been on the brand for ten months. Williams compares their dynamic to The Lion King, calling Zayn Timon and himself Simba. He says only one of them looks and carries himself like a champion, adding that while Zayn may be the Undisputed WWE Champion, he is the veteran when it comes to being a champion.
Williams then demands an Undisputed WWE Championship match.
Zayn fires back, telling Williams that he should be afraid. He says Williams may have a silver tongue, but his own is razor-sharp and made of steel. Zayn claims he could expose every weakness in Williams’ game and embarrass him because he operates on a level Williams cannot comprehend.
The champion says he chooses not to do that because he is a good person. Instead, he advises Williams to enjoy the crowd’s support while it lasts, predicting that the fans will eventually realize Williams does not have what it takes. Zayn says Williams is much closer to sinking or swimming than he realizes and rejects the title challenge.
Williams refuses to accept the answer. He says he is not asking for a championship opportunity, he is demanding one. He warns Zayn that if necessary, he will beat a title match out of him.
The confrontation quickly turns physical when Williams reaches for Johnny Gargano. Before he can do any serious damage, Zayn knocks Williams down. Zayn, Gargano, and Candice LeRae immediately retreat from the ring as Rey Fenix moves toward them.
With tensions boiling over, Nick Aldis appears on the entrance stage and makes a tag team match official for later in the night: Sami Zayn & Johnny Gargano vs. Trick Williams & Rey Fenix.

SmackDown Women’s World Championship: Chelsea Green (c) vs. Roxanne Perez
The championship match begins with a fast-paced technical exchange as Chelsea Green and Roxanne Perez jockey for position. Green gains brief control with a wristlock, but Perez repeatedly counters and keeps the champion guessing. Several quick roll-up attempts from both women result in near falls before Green catches Perez with a spinebuster for a two count.
Green starts to build momentum, sending Perez to the floor and following her outside with a suicide dive. The challenger quickly turns things around, pulling Green to ringside and targeting her arm and shoulder. Perez sends the champion shoulder-first into the ring post and immediately begins focusing her attack on the injured limb.
With Green compromised, Perez removes a turnbuckle pad and repeatedly stomps on the arm. She continues the assault around ringside, driving Green into the barricade before rolling her back into the ring. Perez maintains control with knee drops to the arm, wraps it around the ropes, and repeatedly attacks the shoulder to neutralize Green’s offense.
Green tries to fight back with elbows and short bursts of offense, but Perez stays one step ahead. The challenger drives Green face-first into the canvas, chokes her against the ropes, and follows up with a dropkick while the champion is draped across the middle strand, keeping the pressure firmly on the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Roxanne Perez continues to target Chelsea Green’s arm and upper body, driving a knee into the back of her neck for a near fall before grounding the champion with a camel clutch. Green eventually fights free with elbows and a kick, creating just enough space to mount a comeback.
The champion heads to the ropes, but Perez cuts her off with a slap. Green responds by pulling Perez face-first into the turnbuckles and follows with a superplex that shifts the momentum entirely. With the challenger stunned, Green unloads with a series of clotheslines, an enzuigiri that sends Perez into the ropes, a running double knee strike, and a sliding flatliner for a close two count.
Green looks for UnprettiHER, but Perez counters into a cradle for a near fall. Moments later, Green misses a splash in the corner and Perez tries to capitalize, only to run directly into a pair of knees.
The match takes a controversial turn when the referee checks on Perez. With the official distracted, Raquel Rodriguez shoves Green off the top rope. Perez immediately takes advantage and connects with a Shining Wizard, but the champion narrowly survives the cover.
The interference brings IYO SKY to ringside. IYO confronts Rodriguez and takes her down with a kick and headscissors. Perez then flies through the ropes with a suicide dive onto IYO before returning to the ring.
Back inside, Green avoids a superkick and Perez follows with a back heel kick. The challenger attempts Pop Rox, but Green slips free at the last second and plants Perez with UnprettiHER.
Green hooks the leg and secures the three-count.
Winner and Still SmackDown Women’s World Champion: Chelsea Green
Post-Match Chaos
The celebration is short-lived as Liv Morgan attacks Green immediately after the bell. Rodriguez joins in, and the pair begin beating down both Green and IYO. SKY briefly fights back with a German suplex on Liv and strikes on Rodriguez, but the numbers game proves too much. Perez then joins the assault and helps continue the attack.
The situation changes when Tiffany Stratton’s music hits.
Carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase, Stratton storms to the ring and takes the fight to Perez, Liv, and Rodriguez. IYO assists by blasting Rodriguez with a missile dropkick, while Tiffany neutralizes the rest of the group.
With Liv down, Stratton hands the briefcase to the referee and appears ready to cash in her championship opportunity. Before the match can officially begin, however, Rodriguez and Perez drag Liv out of the ring and to safety.
The cash-in attempt never gets off the ground, leaving Stratton frustrated as Morgan escapes with her title opportunity intact.
Medical Update on Baron Corbin
Later in the broadcast, Michael Cole provides an update on Baron Corbin, announcing that Corbin has been sidelined indefinitely due to injury.

Giulia vs. Blake Monroe – Street Fight
The Street Fight doesn’t wait for the ring introductions. As soon as Blake Monroe makes her way down the aisle, Giulia meets her at the bottom of the entrance ramp and the two immediately start throwing strikes. The referee calls for the bell as the fight spills around ringside.
Monroe is the first to introduce a weapon, pulling a kendo stick from underneath the ring. She uses it to punish Giulia, cracking it across her midsection and back while maintaining control of the brawl.
Looking to increase the damage, Monroe climbs onto the barricade near the timekeeper’s area. Giulia cuts her off before she can capitalize, sweeping her legs out from under her and sending Monroe crashing into the timekeeper’s area.
With Monroe down, Giulia turns the tables. She retrieves a kendo stick of her own and drives Monroe back toward the ring. The former champion then whips Monroe hard into a pile of chairs that had been stacked at ringside, leaving her sprawled among the wreckage as Giulia seizes control of the Street Fight.
Backstage:
Chelsea Green, IYO SKY, and Tiffany Stratton are shown together outside the arena. Green thanks IYO for coming to her aid earlier in the night and admits she had no idea Tiffany would be there. Stratton makes her intentions clear, stating that she plans to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Liv Morgan and become champion. The three continue celebrating the successful defense and confrontation from earlier in the evening.
Giulia vs. Blake Monroe – Street Fight
The fight begins before either woman can officially settle into the ring. Giulia greets Blake Monroe in the aisle and immediately starts throwing punches. Monroe quickly responds with a kick and retrieves a kendo stick from underneath the ring. Giulia blocks the weapon at first, but Monroe rakes her eyes and blasts her repeatedly with the stick.
Monroe gains control and drives Giulia into the barricade before climbing onto it. Giulia cuts her off, crotching Monroe on the railing and then blasting her with a dropkick that sends her crashing into the timekeeper’s area. The action continues around ringside as both women begin introducing weapons into the match.
Giulia grabs a kendo stick of her own, but Monroe drives her into the apron before attempting to throw her into a pile of chairs. Giulia reverses the whip, sending Monroe crashing into the chairs instead. Moments later, Giulia stacks more chairs at ringside while Monroe removes the ring steps and looks for another opening. The exchange ends with Monroe running into a trash can and Giulia bringing the fight back into the ring.
Inside the ropes, Monroe scores a near fall after a running knee and then traps Giulia in a crossface while using a kendo stick for additional leverage. Giulia escapes and unloads with repeated kendo stick shots before planting Monroe with a modified White Russian leg sweep for a two count. She then places a trash can over Monroe and repeatedly strikes it with the kendo stick.
The fight eventually spills up the entrance aisle. Monroe sends Giulia into the LED boards, and after briefly brawling backstage, Monroe sprays hairspray into Giulia’s eyes. Monroe pauses to check her makeup in a mirror, but Giulia uses the distraction to regain control and force the action back toward the arena.
Back in the ring area, Giulia catches Monroe with a running kick and follows with a missile dropkick once they return to the ring. She connects with a curb stomp and comes within inches of victory. As she looks to build momentum, Monroe fires a fire extinguisher into her eyes from the apron and then delivers a suplex off the ring steps onto a pile of chairs at ringside.
Despite the punishment, Giulia remains in the match and scores another near fall. Monroe eventually finds the opening she needs, connecting with a Neutralizer and finally keeping Giulia down for the three-count.
Winner: Blake Monroe

Randy Orton Calls Out Cody Rhodes
Randy Orton takes aim at Cody Rhodes, listing off the many labels attached to his rival. He references Cody as the American Nightmare, the grandson of a plumber, a top star, a husband, and even a movie star. Despite all of that, Orton says there is one thing he never expected to see.
Orton admits he is proud of Cody for finally snapping. He says he never thought Cody would have it in him to kick someone in the head, and considers it a badge of honor that he was the one who pushed Cody to that point. According to Orton, nobody else has been able to make Cody crack the way he has.
However, Orton insists he is not fooled by the change. He says he can see right through Cody and believes that kicking other people means nothing. The only thing that matters is whether Cody can do it to him.
Orton reminds everyone that for 25 years he has stared down legends and kicked their heads off without hesitation or remorse. He then delivers his final challenge, claiming that when the moment comes, Cody will hesitate again.
Before Orton can continue, Cody Rhodes’ music hits.
The crowd erupts as Rhodes makes his way to the ring, setting up another face-to-face confrontation between the two rivals.
As Cody Rhodes heads toward the ring, Nick Aldis and several producers try to keep the situation under control. Cody ignores their efforts and enters the ring anyway to confront Randy Orton face-to-face.
Cody says he is confused by what he is seeing. He questions when Orton became a coward and reminds him of the reputation he built over decades in WWE. Cody points out that Orton was once known as the Apex Predator and says he no longer feels intimidated by him.
Rhodes accuses Orton of rewriting their shared history. He calls Orton the Legend Killer and says that throughout his career he has destroyed everything in his path. Cody references Orton’s attacks on Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Dusty Rhodes, arguing that every time Orton took someone down, he damaged part of his own legacy in the process.
Cody then turns the focus to their recent confrontation. He says that after Orton attacked him, one of them walked away with his head held high while the other went home to recover and feel sorry for himself. Cody insists he is not afraid of Orton and says there is a debt still owed between them.
Growing tired of the talking, Cody removes his jacket and looks ready to fight. Producers quickly step between the two men as Aldis tells them the situation has gone too far.
Orton responds by saying that just because Cody wants the fight right now does not mean it is going to happen.
Aldis then offers a solution, suggesting they settle their differences at Crown Jewel.
Cody agrees to face Orton, but says a regular match is not enough. He demands that the bout be contested under Last Man Standing rules.
Orton surveys the crowd for a moment before accepting the challenge. He closes the segment with a warning, telling Cody to remember that he is the one who asked for it.
The show cuts to a commercial break. We will be back for more WWE SmackDown results for October 23, 2026.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley (c) vs. Michin & B-Fab
Alexa Bliss and B-Fab start the title match with an intense exchange. B-Fab immediately gets under the champion’s skin, pie-facing her twice before Alexa responds with a slap. B-Fab answers with knees, forearms, and a spinning back heel kick in the corner, then follows with a sliding clothesline for an early two count.
Alexa manages to slow things down with a sleeper hold and creates an opening for Tatum Paxley to enter. The champions work together effectively, with Tatum connecting on a crossbody into the corner and a facebuster for a near fall. Paxley maintains control until B-Fab catches her on the apron, but Tatum fires back with an enzuigiri. When Michin charges in, Paxley takes her out with a moonsault to the floor.
After the break, Alexa receives the tag and ignites the crowd with a burst of offense. She runs through both challengers, connects with a DDT, and follows up with a blockbuster for a two count. Alexa looks for Sister Abigail, but B-Fab escapes by grabbing her hair.
Michin eventually tags in and swings momentum back toward her team. Alexa counters briefly with a drop toe hold and headscissors combination before planting Michin with another DDT. The champions appear in control as Alexa heads up top and tags Paxley back into the match.
The closing moments come fast. Alexa lands a crossbody, but Michin cuts the rally short with a dropkick. Paxley responds with a spinning kick and heads to the top rope. Her risk doesn’t pay off, however, as she lands on her feet attempting a 450 splash and rolls through. Michin answers with a headbutt and avoids Cemetery Drive when she grabs the ropes.
Jade Cargill gets involved from ringside, striking Paxley behind the referee’s back. The distraction leaves Paxley vulnerable, and Michin capitalizes immediately with a Styles Clash.
Michin hooks the leg and gets the three-count.
Winners and New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Michin & B-Fab
Trick Williams Secures WWE Title Match; Damian Priest Stares Down
Cathy Kelley catches up with Trick Williams backstage, immediately asking what transpired inside Nick Aldis’ office. Trick says that he is officially scheduled to challenge Sami Zayn for the WWE Championship.
Rey Fenix walks into the frame, telling him that is great news before reminding him that they have a tag team match lined up. Damian Priest then steps into the scene, standing silently as he locks eyes with them in a tense staredown.
We will return after a break with more results from the October 23 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Kyoki
Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga make their way down to the ring alongside MFT. Bakusai follows close behind, but Shinsuke Nakamura suddenly appears on the entrance ramp as a distraction. Capitalizing on the moment, Kyoki snatches Haku’s staff and sprints up the ramp with the stolen prize.
MFT immediately erupts into a wild brawl with Bakusai on the entrance ramp. Officials scramble down from the back to pull the brawling competitors apart and restore order.
Result: No Contest
CM Punk and Kevin Owens Trade Barbs in Heated Sit-Down
Kevin Owens and CM Punk sit down face-to-face as Nick Aldis steps in, warning them that cheap shots are off the table since their upcoming match is officially booked for two weeks away.
Punk immediately scoffs, calling the sit-down a monumental waste of time when he should be preparing to face Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, arguing that Kevin cost him the title. Kevin fires back by reminding Punk that he never would have had that chance anyway because he had Punk beaten in Toronto, only for Punk to cost him his own title opportunity.
Punk accuses Kevin of spending twenty years being passive-aggressive. Kevin responds that he was perfectly happy ignoring Punk for three years until they were forced to cross paths when Punk was champion and he was the number one contender. Kevin adds that he thought things were good between them after Money in the Bank, questioning why they are even in this position and asking if Punk just wants one more match.
Punk snaps back that Kevin will remain a constant thorn in his side until he finally puts him down. Kevin fires back that while he refuses to be a miserable prick like Punk, being around him has turned him into one, noting that he has talked to people who told him all about what Punk is really like. Punk retorts that Kevin doesn’t even care about himself.
Aldis cuts the bickering short, stating that he wants their conflict settled in the ring and confirming the match will take place in two weeks. As they wrap up, Kevin cracks a final parting shot, telling Aldis to point the chairs the other way around the next time he decides to host a sit-down.

The brawl erupts instantly as the babyfaces clear Johnny, Sami, and Ricky off the apron before Rey and Penta launch themselves over the top rope with simultaneous flip dives. Penta and Rey hurl Sami and Johnny into one another at ringside, followed by Penta driving Johnny spine-first into the ring post.
Rey and Sami finally legalise the action inside the squared circle, trading heavy punches until Rey climbs the top turnbuckle to connect with a running kick on Sami. Rey follows up with a cross body for a near-fall. Ricky tags in, immediately taking control by choking Rey across the ropes and chopping him hard across the chest before securing a near-fall. Sami tags back in to deliver a double-axe handle smash to Rey’s arm. Zamy then fires off an Irish whip, but Rey counters with a sharp back elbow. Sami blocks an incoming rolling cutter, seamlessly converting it into a sit-out powerbomb for another near-fall. Sami uncorks a sudden Helluva Kick to knock Trick violently off the apron.
Gargano tags in, attempting a vertical suplex, but Rey blocks it with a knee strike. Johnny fires back with a kick, but Rey swings through the ropes to catch him with a stinging back heel kick. Penta tags in, dropping Johnny with a series of heavy clotheslines. Ricky jumps onto the apron to help double-team Penta alongside Johnny. Penta shakes them off, hitting a smooth tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Johnny, kicking Ricky, and dropping the latter with a leg-sweep and a wraparound bulldog. Penta unleashes a flurry of kicks on Johnny, capping the sequence with a headstand hesitation kick for a close near-fall.
Fenix hurls Ricky to the floor and flies over the top ropes with a spectacular double-jump cross body. Inside the ring, Penta spikes Johnny with a Penta Driver for another near-fall. Penta tries to line up a Destroyer, but Johnny counters with a sharp superkick.
Sami and Trick tag into the match, instantly trading furious punches in the center of the ring. Trick takes control with a flying clothesline, then sizes Sami up for his signature jumping knee. Sami ducks out of the way just in time, sending Trick crashing shoulder-first into the turnbuckle. Ricky surges in to plant Trick with a tornado DDT for a near-fall. Rey counters with a springing handspring cutter on Ricky, but Johnny instantly fires back by driving Rey down with a poisonrana.
Penta neutralizes Johnny with a devastating Destroyer. Sami responds by launching Penta face-first into the turnbuckles with an exploder suplex, sizing him up for a Helluva Kick. Trick intercepts Sami with a blistering clothesline, unleashes a barrage of punches, and connects with his jumping knee. Ricky breaks up the chaos by rolling Trick up for a near-fall, but Trick quickly recovers and flattens Ricky with a uranage to secure the three-count.
