Newly inducted TNA Hall of Famer The Amazing Red has signed a new contract with TNA Wrestling following a surprise return and title victory at Bound For Glory 2026, according to recent backstage reports.
While Red’s initial appearance at the October 11 pay-per-view event was centered on his induction into the TNA Hall of Fame Class of 2026, the veteran high-flyer shocked fans during his acceptance speech by entering the active card. Later that evening, Red competed in a chaotic seven-man scramble match, defeating BDE, Rich Swann, KC Navarro, Fabian Aichner, Cedric Alexander, and Ryan Nemeth to capture the vacant X-Division Championship. He secured the win by hitting KC Navarro with his signature Code Red, marking his fourth reign with the championship.
Amazing Red New Contract
According to PWInsider, Amazing Red has formally finalized a new contract to remain with TNA. Although management has not yet issued an official public statement confirming the agreement, internal sources indicate that the deal is complete and Red is locked in as a regular roster member.
The milestone victory bridges a gap of more than 16 years since Red’s last X-Division title reign in 2010. The championship had been left vacant following Leon Slater’s decision to exercise “Option C,” relinquishing the belt to challenge for the TNA World Championship—a gamble that paid off when Slater defeated Nic Nemeth in the Bound For Glory main event.
Red, 44, is widely celebrated as an architectural pioneer of the X-Division during his initial runs with the company from 2002 to 2004 and 2009 to 2011. Outside of his active in-ring commitments with TNA, the veteran performer continues to operate as the founder and head trainer of New York-based independent promotion House of Glory Wrestling.
