The official road to WWE Money in the Bank 2026 launches tonight as WWE RAW emanates live from the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, for a special Labor Day edition of the broadcast.
With the upcoming premium live event now just over a month away, official qualification matches for both the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches will begin on tonight’s show.
High-Stakes Triple Threat Qualifying Action
WWE has announced two massive Triple Threat qualifying matches to kick off the field for the iconic ladder matches:
- Men’s Division Qualifier: WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, RAW star Ethan Page, and Bron Breakker will battle in a high-stakes three-way clash for the first spot in the men’s Money in the Bank match.
- Women’s Division Qualifier: NXT star Sol Ruca, former champion Lyra Valkyria, and The Vision’s Maxxine Dupri collide to earn a spot in the women’s ladder match.
An additional storyline element surrounds the women’s qualifier. Rumors have circulated regarding a potential surprise return for Bayley on tonight’s episode following a multi-week absence from WWE television since July. Should she resurface during the broadcast, her lingering issues with Valkyria could heavily impact the outcome of the qualifier.
Championship Action & SNME Fallout
Beyond the qualifying matches, tonight’s episode serves as the immediate fallout from Sunday Night’s Main Event:
- Women’s World Championship Match: Liv Morgan puts her Women’s World Championship on the line against Stephanie Vaquer.
- Breakker & Reed Fallout: Breakker enters his qualifying match following a disqualification loss to Oba Femi in Atlanta, where a returning Bronson Reed interfered and joined forces with Breakker to deliver a post-match beatdown.
