The future of former AEW tag team partners Anthony Bowens and Max Caster is currently uncertain, as both of their contracts are reportedly set to expire at the beginning of October.
With roughly a week remaining on their respective deals, there have reportedly been no active negotiations between All Elite Wrestling management and either talent regarding contract extensions. Furthermore, there is no internal word on whether AEW intends to present new offers to either wrestler, leaving the situation quiet as the expiration dates approach.
Bowens and Caster, who formerly teamed together as The Acclaimed, briefly reunited last year following an earlier split, though that reunion was short-lived. The two have operated on separate trajectories throughout 2026:
- Max Caster has been largely absent from AEW television in recent months, though he has continued to make select appearances on the independent scene.
- Anthony Bowens has maintained a presence on AEW programming after becoming associated with The Opps. Bowens wrestled at AEW All In, which stands as his lone match since late July.
During their time together as a duo, Bowens and Caster reached the top of the tag team ranks, capturing both the AEW World Tag Team Championship and the AEW World Trios Championship.
