The tag team division in All Elite Wrestling is set for a historic collision as Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against two of the most decorated duos in modern professional wrestling history.
During the September 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, Copeland took to the microphone to make the official announcement for AEW All Out 2026, confirming a major three-way showdown featuring Copeland & Cage, FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler), and The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson).

Copeland teased during his promo that the championship match will feature tables, ladders, and chairs, setting the stage for a chaotic scene at the pay-per-view.
The announcement comes directly on the heels of Copeland and Cage retaining their titles against The Young Bucks at AEW All In 2026. However, Copeland openly admitted on Dynamite that he was deeply dissatisfied with the outcome of that match. Cage secretly utilized a wrench to gain the advantage—an illegal tactic Copeland claimed he only discovered after reviewing the match broadcast afterward.
FTR Returns To The Championship Picture
The bout will also mark the official return of FTR to AEW competition. Harwood and Wheeler have been absent from AEW television since losing an intense “I Quit” match to Copeland and Cage at AEW Double or Nothing 2026.
The three-way clash brings together three defining tag teams in a match format closely tied to Copeland and Cage’s legendary careers.
NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, will host AEW All Out 2026 live on Saturday, September 26.
