Will Ospreay kicked off the broadcast with an impassioned promo, reflecting on his return from neck surgery and what it means to represent British wrestling on the world stage. Ospreay paid tribute to UK independent wrestling legends and fallen peers, including Mad Kurt, Ryan Smile, and Lionheart.
Addressing his upcoming title match against AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Ospreay made it clear that while he holds immense respect for Omega, that respect vanished the moment Omega brought his son into the feud. Ospreay concluded by warning Omega: “You don’t want to fuck with a man looking after a boy,” promising to bring the AEW World Championship home at Wembley.
