WWE Survivor Series 2025 Preview

AJ Lee will step back into the ring for the first time since teaming with reigning World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk to defeat Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins at Wrestlepalooza on September 20. Lee now joins forces with Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, IYO SKY, and Rhea Ripley in the Women’s WarGames Match against Lynch, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Kairi Sane and Asuka. Flair initially resisted involvement, reluctant to enter the WarGames environment, but her stance changed after she came to Bliss’ aid during a brutal attack by Asuka, Sane, Jax, and Legend on the November 17 episode of RAW. Lee and Lynch were also late additions to their respective teams, with Lee’s interference costing Lynch the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri, igniting their renewed rivalry.

The men’s division will mirror the chaos. Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker of The Vision will unite with Brock Lesnar to battle Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk in the Men’s WarGames Match. Tensions have escalated for weeks, culminating in a massive pull-apart brawl this past Monday on RAW after McIntyre and Paul scored a victory over the Usos. With both teams now fully assembled, tonight’s show is expected to further fuel the animosity heading into Saturday’s double-cage spectacle.

Championship gold will also be on the line. Stephanie Vaquer defends the Women’s World Championship against WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. Vaquer last retained her title against Raquel Rodriguez on the November 11 episode of RAW, only to be blindsided by Bella, who struck her with the championship belt. Tonight, Vaquer looks to prove her dominance against one of WWE’s most decorated veterans.

Meanwhile, John Cena continues his farewell tour with another major defense. Ahead of his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, Cena will put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Dominik Mysterio of Judgment Day. Cena ended Dominik’s 204-day reign on November 11, and after a heated confrontation between the two, Triple H made the rematch official. With Judgment Day’s momentum hanging in the balance, Dominik will be desperate to reclaim the title he once held.
