Backstage News & Notes for WWE Survivor Series 2025 – WWE implemented several behind-the-scenes precautions throughout Survivor Series weekend in San Diego, both to support the team working the event and to protect surprises planned for the broadcast. Staff members who were already on location received a Thanksgiving lunch on Thursday, a gesture meant to ease the long holiday weekend workload for those preparing the stadium setup.
A few top names also received private accommodations backstage at Petco Park. John Cena and Brock Lesnar were each assigned individual dressing rooms away from the general locker room areas. Lesnar flew into San Diego on Friday evening, arriving by private jet, which is consistent with how the company typically handles his travel schedule.
Because the event took place in an open-air stadium, production staff were especially careful about limiting what could be seen or recorded. To keep rehearsals from being visible to nearby buildings, crews used curtains for specific walkthroughs and avoided conducting full entrance run-throughs that could easily be spotted from hotel windows overlooking the ballpark.
Another concern throughout the week centered around TikTok activity. Officials attempted to prevent fans from filming content that could spoil planned moments, as the platform had reportedly caused problems leading into the show. As an extra precaution, WWE assembled a complete ring backstage to allow certain rehearsals to take place privately, minimizing the chance that anything would leak from outside filming.
Despite those efforts, at least one major return spoiler still surfaced earlier in the day. Those following the updates will already know which returning name made headlines ahead of the show.
There was also internal discussion regarding the Men’s WarGames entrance order as the event approached. While the debate created some backstage buzz, the full match order for the premium live event was eventually locked in.
The Women’s WarGames match is scheduled to open the main card, followed by John Cena defending the Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio. Stephanie Vaquer vs Nikki Bella for the WWE Women’s World Championship is listed third, and the Men’s WarGames match will close the show.
WrestlingAttitude.Com will have full live Survivor Series WarGames coverage tonight.
