Spoiler on Big Return Set for WWE Survivor Series WarGames

Spoiler on Big Return Set for WWE Survivor Series WarGames – A major return is expected to take place tonight at WWE Survivor Series WarGames, and backstage reports indicate that one former champion is set to make her comeback earlier than originally planned. The event will air live from Petco Park in San Diego, California, with four matches scheduled for the premium live event.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Liv Morgan is scheduled to return to WWE programming later tonight. Morgan has been out of action with a separated shoulder injury and was previously expected to make her comeback in early 2026. Her recovery reportedly moved faster than anticipated due to her aggressive rehab routine, allowing her to return months ahead of the company’s original timeline.

The expectation is that Morgan will make her return during the Intercontinental Championship Match between John Cena and Rey Mysterio. With her involvement being kept intentionally vague, there is speculation within the company that her appearance could play a significant role in shifting momentum during whichever match she enters. Fans will learn more once the show goes live, but her presence is confirmed internally for tonight’s broadcast.

In addition to her in-ring return, Morgan also filmed material for the women’s WrestleMania 42 promotional commercial released on Friday. The commercial that aired did not include her, but Johnson states that she will be added to an updated version following her on-screen comeback. With her return planned for tonight, that revised commercial is expected to debut soon.

Tonight’s announced Survivor Series WarGames lineup includes the Men’s WarGames match featuring CM Punk, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns against The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar. The Women’s WarGames match will see Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee face Asuka and Kairi Sane of The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and Becky Lynch. John Cena will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio, and Stephanie Vaquer will put the WWE Women’s World Championship on the line against Nikki Bella.
