“Daddy Magic” Matt Menard Signs New Five-Year AEW Contract – Another All Elite Wrestling star has committed their long-term future to the company.
Following last week’s news that TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher signed a multi-year extension, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) reports that “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard has agreed to a new five-year deal with AEW.
Menard’s previous contract was set to expire around All In: Texas, but negotiations resulted in a new agreement that will keep him with the promotion through the summer of 2030.
Although his in-ring schedule has been lighter this year compared to previous seasons, Menard has remained a prominent figure on AEW programming. In addition to occasional matches, he has carved out a consistent role on commentary, frequently calling bouts involving stablemate Daniel Garcia.
Menard joined AEW in 2021 alongside tag partner Angelo Parker after the duo’s run in WWE as Ever-Rise. Since then, he has been part of several high-profile storylines, including the Jericho Appreciation Society’s run and Garcia’s ongoing singles push.
This latest signing continues AEW’s recent trend of securing talent on long-term deals as the company builds toward its upcoming major events.
