Karrion Kross Signs Allegedly Confiscated on RAW – As noted, Karrion Kross and Scarlett have confirmed that their WWE contracts officially expired on August 10, marking the end of their most recent run with the company. The duo made the announcement over the weekend, prompting immediate speculation among fans about whether the news is legitimate or part of a storyline.
Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer reported that WWE appeared to treat the situation as a real departure during Monday’s RAW. While the live crowd did not break into “Kross” chants at any point during the broadcast, Meltzer noted that signs supporting the former NXT Champion were allegedly confiscated by security.
“You know they did confiscate some of the (Karrion Kross) signs tonight? Yeah, I mean nobody chanted. And I heard from several people at the show, and they said people thought people might chant. Nobody chanted. There were a few signs in the crowd. I didn’t see anyone taking them away, and I did see them later in the show, but someone who was there said, ‘Yeah, they absolutely took the signs away,’” Meltzer explained.
Kross re-signed with WWE in 2022 after his initial main roster run in 2021 was cut short due to his release. During his second stint, he worked alongside Scarlett in a presentation closer to his NXT character, though his appearances on television became more sporadic over the past year.
If the situation proves legitimate, it remains to be seen where Kross and Scarlett will land next, with possible destinations including AEW, NJPW, or a return to the independent circuit.
