Naomi Not Medically Cleared For RAW – Women’s World Champion Naomi will not compete on tonight’s RAW after WWE announced she is not medically cleared.
WWE released the following statement hours before the show at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City:
“BREAKING NEWS: Naomi is not medically cleared to compete and therefore her scheduled match against Iyo Sky will not take place tonight on Monday Night Raw. Tune into tonight for continuing coverage on this developing story.”
No further details have been provided by the company. WWE had promoted the Women’s World Championship match on social media and Adam Pearce included the bout while running down the card earlier in the day.
Naomi last defended the title on August 3 at SummerSlam Night Two, where she retained the championship in a triple-threat match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.
Tonight’s absence forces a late change to RAW’s advertised lineup. WWE typically updates its broadcast feed and social channels with match adjustments and replacements, and the company told viewers to tune in for ongoing coverage. It is not yet known whether the Women’s World Championship will be defended later in the show or if an interim plan will be announced.
Medical statuses in WWE are often treated as internal matters until clearance is granted, and specifics are commonly withheld. Fans and media will watch for official updates from WWE and Naomi’s representatives as the night progresses.
RAW airs live from the Videotron Centre in Quebec City, Quebec, at 8/7c on the USA Network. Stay tuned for further information on Naomi’s condition and any card changes.
