Naomi Calls Herself “The Epitome of Evolution” After Women’s World Title Win

Naomi Calls Herself “The Epitome of Evolution” After Women’s World Title Win – Naomi made history at WWE Evolution 2 on Sunday night by cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase to become the new WWE Women’s World Champion, stunning the crowd and ending the night as the last woman standing. Her victory came after a hard-hitting main event between Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, neither of whom left the event with the gold.

Following the show, Naomi appeared on the WWE Evolution Recap show on YouTube, where she spoke candidly about her 16-year journey in WWE and the significance of her title win. According to Naomi, her long and often challenging path through the industry makes her the embodiment of what Evolution truly means.

“My whole journey, everything. I’ve evolved and adapted and adjusted for 16 years. I am the epitome of evolution. When you look up evolution in the dictionary, I want a picture of me next to that bitch like this (gestures),” Naomi said.

She also revealed a personal piece of advice she received from Natalya, who encouraged her to “find your F-U”—a mindset that Naomi says helped her push through the many challenges of a demanding industry in the social media age.

“Me and Nattie talk, and I learned and got this from Nattie. She always says, ‘find your F-U.’ She said, find your F-U. And like, I get it. I get it, and I think I found it. It’s not like F-U as in like you don’t care or it don’t matter, but it’s just like find that, whatever that string is or that thing that fires you up and that just makes you not give a crap to get to your goals and dreams and where you want to go,” Naomi explained.

She went on to talk about the emotional toll of public scrutiny and the importance of resilience in a time where performers face constant criticism.

“I think it’s very hard now with social media. When I started, there wasn’t even Instagram. So to now be in a time where there’s so much criticism, and we’re already as performers hard on ourselves, it can really get to you. It can affect your confidence… and you just got to find your F-U. Cut out all the noise and push through and just keep going.”

Naomi emphasized the unpredictable nature of professional wrestling and the beauty of perseverance, closing with a heartfelt reflection on her long road to championship gold.

“If you stop… that may be good for some in certain situations, but also… if you just keep going and see it through, you don’t know what could happen, what could change, where you could be… For me, it could be 16 years later, and you don’t know, and I think that’s what… drives us. That’s what fuels us, and I just… I love that.”

Naomi’s win at Evolution 2 wasn’t just a title victory—it was a moment that symbolized years of resilience, reinvention, and belief in herself. As the new Women’s World Champion, she now enters a new chapter of her WWE career, one fueled by experience, purpose, and a fierce desire to prove what evolution truly looks like.
