Hangman Page Wins AEW World Title in Brutal Texas Death Match at All In Texas – Hangman Adam Page is once again AEW World Champion after defeating Jon Moxley in a bloody, chaotic, and emotionally charged Texas Death Match to close out AEW All In: Texas at Globe Life Field. The bout marked the culmination of a nearly 10-month storyline that began at WrestleDream 2024 and played out with one of the most dramatic finishes in AEW history.
The match itself was a violent war. Weapons, run-ins, and storyline callbacks blended into a spectacle worthy of the main event slot on AEW’s biggest show of the year. The most disturbing moment came when Moxley attempted to suffocate Page with a plastic bag, only for a video from Darby Allin to air from atop Mount Everest, warning that he was coming to take everything from Moxley.
As Moxley tried to finish the job, Bryan Danielson appeared in a Blue Panther mask and hit the ring, dropping Wheeler Yuta and Gabe Kidd, then eliminating Claudio Castagnoli. That opened the door for Darby Allin to descend from the stadium rafters and nail a Coffin Drop on the outside.
Page followed with a Buckshot Lariat and a Deadeye through a table. As Moxley struggled to answer the referee’s ten-count, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) ran in to deliver a Superkick Party and an EVP Trigger to Page. Moxley and Marina Shafir introduced a bed of nails, curb-stomping Page into it and hitting a Paradigm Shift. But Page beat the count once again.
As Moxley ordered Shafir to retrieve the briefcase, she was stopped and handcuffed by a returning Prince Nana, setting up the arrival of Swerve Strickland, who saved Page by attacking the Bucks with a chain—the same chain Page gave Swerve during Collision.
Page took the chain and wrapped it around Moxley’s neck, hitting a Buckshot Lariat onto the bed of nails. In a haunting finish, Page threw Moxley over the top rope and hung him with the chain. With no way to continue, Moxley tapped out to a roaring crowd.
Page then unlocked the briefcase that had remained sealed since WrestleDream, revealing the AEW World Title. Fireworks erupted as an emotional Page raised the championship high.
This is Hangman Page’s second AEW World Title reign and his second Texas Death Match victory over Moxley, following their clash at Revolution 2023. Page improves to 5-1 in Texas Death Matches, while Moxley’s fourth AEW World Title reign comes to an end.
