MJF Wins Casino Gauntlet Match at AEW All In, Earns Future Title Shot – MJF is officially back in the AEW World Championship picture after winning the Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match at AEW All In: Texas. The event, held at Globe Life Field in Arlington on Saturday, featured a stacked 14-man lineup and ended with MJF seizing the victory—and a guaranteed world title opportunity.
The finish came when Mark Briscoe had seemingly secured the win with a devastating Jay Driller on Roderick Strong. But just as Briscoe went for the pin, MJF struck, throwing him out of the ring and stealing the three-count on Strong to win the match. The moment echoed the kind of cunning that defined MJF’s historic 406-day AEW World Title reign, which ended at AEW Worlds End 2024 at the hands of Samoa Joe.
With the victory, MJF earned a contract guaranteeing him a future AEW World Championship match at any time of his choosing. Last year’s Casino Gauntlet winner, Christian Cage, turned his win into a pseudo “Money in the Bank” opportunity, attempting to cash in mid-match at AEW Revolution 2025—though unsuccessfully.
The full list of participants in this year’s Casino Gauntlet match included some of AEW and ROH’s top names and international stars. The competitors entered in the following order:
- MJF
- Mark Briscoe
- Ricochet
- Bandido
- Konosuke Takeshita
- Mistico
- Josh Alexander
- Anthony Bowens
- Roderick Strong
- Brody King
- Juice Robinson (returning)
- Kota Ibushi
- Beast Mortos
- Max Caster
MJF’s win sets up a compelling question—when will he cash in, and against whom? With Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship in the Texas Death Match main event against Hangman Page later tonight, the timing could prove crucial.
This marks MJF’s first official attempt at regaining the title since losing it at the end of 2024, and fans will be watching closely to see when—and how—he plans to strike.
