Trish Stratus Hints at More Matches After WWE Evolution Loss – Trish Stratus may not be done in the ring just yet. The WWE Hall of Famer returned to action at the WWE Evolution event on July 13, competing in her first singles match in nearly a year. Although she was unable to dethrone WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, Stratus received a warm ovation from the crowd following the match—and gave fans a reason to believe her in-ring career might not be over.

Speaking during the WWE Evolution post-show, Stratus reflected on facing a newer generation of WWE Superstars. She expressed pride in watching today’s talent continue the legacy she helped build, stating that she felt “blessed” to be part of the event.

“I have that thought like, ‘Is this the last time? It could be.’ The WWE fans has been so wonderful to me and so supportive,” Stratus said. “I just feel so blessed to dip my toes into the current landscape. It’s been 20 years. Is it 2005? Like, what the heck.”

When asked if fans should expect to see her wrestle again, Stratus gave a strong indication that she isn’t finished. She emphasized that 2025 marks her 25th anniversary in the business and that she wants to fully embrace what the milestone represents.

“I want to knock down the preconceived notions about maybe there is no expiration date until you say it is. It’s not over until you say it’s over,” she said. “It’s my 25th year. Let’s make it a good one.”

Despite the loss, her opponent, Tiffany Stratton, came away with what many are calling the biggest victory of her career, successfully defending the WWE Women’s Championship against a living legend.

Stratus’ last official match before this appearance came at Elimination Chamber on March 1, 2025. With her latest comments, it seems fans could see at least one more match from the seven-time champion before the year is over.
