8/12 NXT Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude.com’s coverage of WWE NXT for August 5, airing live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Hank and Tank walk in the parking lot and Ava greets them. She tells them not to interfere in Dark State’s match tonight.Tank says they hear her loud and clear and Hank agrees that ‘they won’t (wink wink) interfere’ and they promise.
Lash Legend vs. Nia Jax
They lock up and they go around the ring. Nia pushes Lash away on the break. They lock up again and Nia sends Lash into the turnbuckles and follows with shoulders. NIa with an Irish whip and she misses a splash. Lash with shoulders in the corner. Lash picks up Nia and runs her into the turnbuckles. Nia with a boot. Nia sends Lash to the floor. Lash runs Nia into the apron. Lash goes for a slam but Nia blocks it with elbows. Nia sends Lash to the apron. Lash with a forearm and she sends Nia into the turnbuckles. Lash sends Nia into the turnbuckle many times. Lash with chops in the ropes. Lash with a flying corkscrew back elbow and a splash for a near fall. Lash goes for a slam but she cannot get Nia up. NIa with a head butt. Both women with clotheslines at the same time and both go down.
Lash with a bicycle kick to send Nia to the floor. Lash goes to the floor and she connects with a forearm but Nia with a forearm of her own and she sends Lash into the apron. Lash sends Nia into the ring steps. Lash returns to the ring and she returns to the floor. Lash with forearms and she sends Nia into the ringside barrier. Lash pushes over the ring steps and she pulls the bottom step against the announce table. Nia with a clothesline. Nia sends Lash into the ring steps. Nia breaks the count and returns to the floor. Nia adjusts the announce table and she takes a drink and pours it on the table. Meanwhile, Lash rturns to the ring and the referee tells her to get back in the ring.
Nia with an elbow drop to the back and she grabs her by the neck. Lash with a forearm and she goes for Lash Extension but Nia escapes and hits a Samoan drop for a near fall. Nia goes shoulder first into the ring post when Lash moves. Lash goes for Lash Extension and hits it and she cannot make the cover. Nia pulls the ring skirt and while the referee fixes it, Nia with a shot to the throat followed by a back senton and leg drop. Lash rolls to the floor and so does Nia. Nia sends Lash into the ringside barrier. Lash pushes NIa and connects with punches and elbows. Lash goes to the step next to the announce table and she sets for a suplex through the table but Nia blocks it. Lsh with punches and Lash goes for a slam but she collapses under Nia’s weight and Lash goes through the table.
The referee starts his count and Nia gets up first. She gets back into the ring and Lash gets the nine count turbo boost to return to the ring. Nia with a forearm and Lash fires back. They continue the exchange. Lash pushes Nia into the ropes to get the momentum to slam Nia and she gets a near fall. Lash pulls Nia into the corner and she goes to the turnbuckles. Nia with a forearm to stop Lash. Lash with a forearm and she goes under ahd she sets for a power bomb but she collapses under Nia’s weight and Nia with aNIAlator for the three count.
Winner: Nia Jax
– Kelly is with Dark State and she asks about their match later tonight and what are their plans. Dion says tonight is why they came together. They are here to take advantage of the situation. Now they are against four of the best from NXT and TNA. They will dominate and they will beat them down. Saquon says it has been six months and tonight they cut the heads off the snakes. Then they will make Hank and Tank 20 pounds lighter when they take the tag titles.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Chelsea emerges from the elevator with Alba and Piper to confront the person who Tavion was talking about to take them out. They see Kali Armstrong, Karmen Petrovic, and Hank and Tank in wigs. Stevie tells them to leave. Chelsea sees Kendal Blue . . . Gray. Green looks at her college record. She asks how will she look after she faces Alba.
Joe Hendry vs. Charlie Dempsey (withi Wren Sinclair)
They lock up and Joe with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Charlie with a drop toe hold but Joe with a rollup for a near fall. Joe with a hip toss. Charlie with a back drop into a wrist lock. Joe with a reversal and take down. Charlie with a take down but Joe holds on to the wrist lock. Joe avoids a snap mare . Charlie with a snap mare and Joe holds on to the wrist lock. Joe with an arm wringer. Charlie with forearms and a European uppercut. Dempsey with a gutwrench suplex for a near fall. Joe with a back elbow but Charlie with a kick and a Northern Lights suplex and a butterfly Northern Lights suplex into a guillotine. Charlie with a body scissors and Joe with a suplex.
Joe with punches and a clothesline. Joe with a fallaway slam and a turn to the camera. Joe wtih the Emi Sakura stomp and he sets for Standing Ovation but Dempsey blocks it and he gets a near fall with a back slide. Joe with Standing Ovation for the three count.
Winner: Joe Hendry
– Josh Briggs walks in the back as we go to commercial.
– We are back and Lola and Kelani spar in the locker room. Lola says they need to win tonight. She says this is a huge opportunity. She says she is ready to become NXT Champion. Jordan says she has come close to the title. Jaida shows up and she says she has money on them in the tag match, but Jaida says that Jaida has next.
– Josh Briggs makes his way to the ring.
Josh says your boos mean nothing because he sees what you cheer. Josh says when someone shows you who they really are, believe them. Inamura said he was his friend. He was selfish and spineless. Josh says when Inamura came back to NXT, he acted like it was for him. All he cared about was his play to be NXT Champion. He didn’t care about their friendship. Josh says he tried to make Inamura a champion but Inamura lives by a stupid code of honor. There is no honor in NXT. How many times does he have to tell Inamura. He says he is not a man of honor, he is a man of mayhem. He says he should be champion, but because of Inamura he is not.
Inamura needs to learn that the only way you survive in NXT, you have to fight dirty. He tells Inamura to put that honor on the line next week in a street fight.
Inamura makes his way to the ring.
He tells Briggs he thought Josh was his friend, but he is just . . . a jackass He tells Briggs he is a jackass. He says he fights his way with honor. He says he will face Josh next week and he will not lose. The honor will be in beating you.
Inamura with a forearm and he sends Josh to the floor. Josh and Inamura fight on the turnbuckles while they kick off security. Inamura chops Briggs off the turnbuckles onto security. Inamura with a springing frog splash onto Josh and security.
– Jordynne Grace is in the interview room with Kelly Kincaid. We go to commercial.
– We are back and Vic says that Jordynne Grace is medically cleared.
– We go to the interview from earlier today.
Kelly asks Jordynne how she is feeling.
She says Blake is right about what she said. She says she spent most of her life avoiding mirrors. It wasn’t that she wasn’t beautiful or strong, she didn’t see herself that way. She says the real battle is not with her body, it is with her mind and her self worth. It is the voice in her head saying she isn’t good enough.
Kelly asks about what happened when Blake got closer to her.
Jordynne says she always felt like an outsider. When Blake came along and felt like an outsider, she wanted to connect. She knows what Blake is. They share the same weakness. They don’t think they are good enough, but Blake tears people down.
Jordynne says real strength doesn’t feed on someone’s weakness.
Kelly asks about the match at Heatwave.
Jordynne says she is not going to show that she is better or for revenge. She is there to show that there is no blueprint for champions and champions can silence bullies like Blake. She will show what a champion looks like.
– Blake and Ava are in OFFICE. Ava says they will be face to face in the ring next week. Blake asks Jacy and Fallon about their match. Fallon says they have dealt with Lola and beat Kelani already. Jacy thanks Fallon for answering the question and Jazmyn for getting this match set up. She says she will take care of these two women tonight.
We see Masha Slamovich walking in the building.
Jacy wants to know what are they doing here.and Jazmyn says they probably want to watch the match. Lainey wishes Jacy luck tonight.
– Oba says they are not friends, but they have to co-exist to beat Dark State. He says they are the alpha males of the species. Moose says he isn’t friends with any of them. Evans is on board. Trick says it is what it is and on Friday, Moose is taking the loss on Friday and Evans is taking the loss on Tuesday.
– Hank and Tank spray the locker room in their attempt to have more jobs than AJ Styles.
– We see Ash By Elegance and Masha Slamovich in the crowd.
Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jacy Jayne) vs. Lola Vice & Kelani Jordan
Jordan and Fallon start things off and Fallon with a knee and an arm drag take down into a submission. Jordan with a few near falls and a double leg take down and splash for a near fall. Lola tags in and Jordan trips Fallon with a split and Lola with a kick for a near fall. Fallon tags in Jacy and Jacy misses a boot. Lola with a punch to the midsection followed by a wrist lock. Jacy with a reversal and she goes for a rollup but Lola counters into a wrist lock submission. Lola with an arm bar. Fallon tags in and she kicks Lola in the back as she hits the ropes. Fallon gets a near fall. Fallon sends Lola into the corner and Jacy tags in and hits an elbow. Fallon with a sliding clothesline and Jacy with a back senton for a near fall. Jacy kicks Lola. Lola with a waist lock.
Jacy with an O’Connor Roll but Lola with a rear naked choke. Jacy gets a near fall. Lola with kicks and Jordan tags in and they go for a double suplex but Fallon blocks it. Lola and Jordan with Tiger Feint arm drags and drop kicks. Nyx gets on the apron and Jordan misses with a punch. Jordan chases Fallon and Jacy with a clothesline. Jacy sends Jordan into the turnbuckles and she kicks Jordan in the corner. Jacy chokes Jordan and tags in Fallon. Fallon with a kick. Fallon and Jacy with a delayed double flap jack and Fallon with Natural Selection for a near fall. Fallon with knees and Jordan with a back slide but Fallon rolls out. Jordan with another rollup for a near fall. Fallon sends Jordan into the mat.
Fallon taunts Lola and she sends Jordan into the turnbuckles. Jacy tags in and they choke Jordan. Jacy gets a near fall. Jacy with elbows and a reverse chin lock. Jacy adds a body scissors. Jordan leans back for a near fall but Jacy holds on. Jacy with a knee to the midsection. Jacy with an Irish whip and Jordan floats over and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Jordan with a shoulder and forearms. Jacy with a face buster and a clothesline for a near fall. Jacy sends Jordan into the turnbuckles and she chokes Jordan. Fallon tags in and Jordan with a boot to Jacy. They hit a double back body drop and Jordan lands on her feet and she tags in Lola. Lola with a series of kicks including Naomi kicks to Jacy and then to Fallon.
Lola with the Shakira running hip strikes on Fallon and Jacy. Lola with a kick and suplex to Fallon for a near fall. Jordan tags in and Lola kicks Fallon in the ropes. Jordan with a hesitation twisting guillotine leg drop. Fallon kicks Jordan and hits Lola with a forearm. Jordan with an accordion slam and Jordan goes up top but Nyx and Jacy get on the apron and the distraction allows Fallon to hit a press slam. Jacy tags in and they hit a boot to the face and back of the head but Lola pushes Fallon onto the cover to break it up. Jacy and Jordan exchange forearms. Jordan has a kick blocked but she lands on her feete. Jacy with a thrust kick and Jordan with a rollup.
Jacy with a wrist lock and she gets a near fall with a rollup. Jacy with a thrust kick and she goes for a slam but Jordan escapes and she hits a step over leg lariat for a near fall. Lola kicks Fallon to the floor. Lola florces Nyx into the ring and the referee does not see Lola hit a back fist and Jordan hits a split legged moonsault for the three count.
Winners: Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan
After the match, Jacy is helped up by Jazmyn and Fallon. Jacy sees everyone who is looking to challenge her for the title.
– We have a Jasper Troy and Ricky Saints video package.

– We see Ethan and Chelsea watching from the Canadian Embassy portion of LOCKER ROOM.
Kendal Grey vs. Alba Fyre
Grey with a waist lock take down and she gets a near fall with a rollup. Alba gets to the ropes and she kicks Grey and follows with a forearm. Alba with a head butt. Alba with an Irish whip and she floats over and goes to the apron and avoids Alba. Grey with a leg sweep and drop kick to the head. Grey with a European uppercut and she gets Alba on her shoulders but Alba escapes. Alba with a super kick for a near fall. Alba stomps on the head. Alba kicks Grey and chokes her in the ropes. Piper slaps Grey. Grey with a snap mare and a back elbow.or two. Grey with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
Ethan says he is going to get a closer look.
Alba trips Grey and pulls her to the apron. Grey with a cross arm breaker and they get into the ring.
Ethan checks on Piper and Alba gets a near fall. Grey misses splash but Grey with an elbow. Grey with a cross body for a near fall. Grey with a power slam for a near fall. Alba with a thrust kick and a gourdbuster. Alba with a kick for a near fall. Grey gets Alba up and Alba with a rake of the eyes. Alba with a Gory Bomb for the three count.
Winner: Alba Fyre
After the match, Ethan asks if that is the best America has. He says he is sorry that the Secret Hervice had to embarass your pick.
Tavion Heights makes his way to the ring.
He says while he may respect Kendal and all she has done at NXT, that isn’t her pick. He says he picked a woman that no other woman has done in WWE history. That is win an Olympic Gold Medal. He brings out Tara Mae Stelle.
She tries to give Ehtan a German suplex but Alba and Piper make the save. Steele with a German suplex to Alba and Piper.
Tavion sends Page back into the ring and she gives Page a German suplex.
– Jacy yells at Fallon and then yells at Jazmyn. Ava says since Jacy is a double champ, she talked to Santino and she will defend the TNA title at Heatwave. Jacy asks who her opponent is and Ava says it will be Ash by Elegance . . . and Masha Slamovich. Ava says there will be a six woman tag match next week with Fatal Influence against the Elegance Brand.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Chelsea wants to know what happened. Green says Grey fit the bill and didn’t consider the only female gold medalist. Ethan says the problem is Mr. and Mrs. Olympics. Chelsea says she’s got it. They are going to act swiftly and enter into a peace agreement between Canada and America. Ethan says he can get it done for next week.
– Next week, Trick Williams faces Je’Von Evans in a Number One Contender Match. Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe will be face to face. Jasper Troy faces Ricky Saints. Josh Briggs faces Yoshiki Inamura in a Street Fight. Fatal Influence faces the Elegance.
Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans & Moose vs. DarkState (Cutler James, Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shugars)
All eight men brawl as the match starts and Evans with a back body drop to Saquon after Griffin hits Oba from behind. Evans with punches to Saquon. Evans gets a near fall but Saquon sends him to the mat. Evans with a slingshot head scissors take down and a drop kick that sends Saquon to the floor. Evns drop kicks Dion and punches Cutler. Oba sends Cutler to the floor. Moose sends Osiris over the top rope. Saquon is tossed onto his partners. Moose and Oba toss Trick onto Dark State on the floor. Trick hugs his partners and they are buddy buddy for now.
Evans sends Saquon into the ring and Trick with a front face lock. James tags in and Trick tries for a drop toe hold but Cutler stays on his feet. Trick with a kick and he gets a near fall. Trick with a kick and James with a forearm. Trick with a clothesline and both with a clothesline at the same time and both go down. Moose tags in and he misses a splash into the corner. James with a kick and he misses a splash. Moose with chops and punches. Moose with a flying forearm and Evans tags in. Evans with a forearm to the back and James with a forearm. Evans with a Superman punch. Evans with chops. James with a forearm and chop. Evans with another chop and punches.
Oba tags in and he punches James. James blocks a suplex and Oba returns the favor. Oba finally hits a suplex. Osiris tags in and they exchange punches. Oba with a side head lock and a shoulder tackle but Osiris stays on his feet. Dion drops Oba on the top rope and Osiris with a power slam. Dion gets a near fall. Dion with a neck breaker for a near fall. Osiris tags in and hits a leg drop for a near fall. Osiris with a sleeper. Oba with punches and he slams Osiris. Evans and Dion tag in and Evans with a super kick and he hits a dive onto Saquon. Evans with a springboard clothesline and a suicide dive that sends Saquon onto the announce table. Evans goes up top and leaps over Dion. Dion with a spinebuster. Dion sends Evans into teh turnbuckles. Osiris tags in and hits a shoulder. Saquon with a kick and Osiris with a splash. Cutler gets a near fall.
Evans with punches and James with a forearm. James with an Irish whip and Evans with a kick. James stops Evans from making the tag. Evans with a rebound spin kick and Moose and Saquon tag in and Moose takes care of everyone. Saquon with a back elbow and Moose drop kicks Saquon off the turnbuckles. Moose with a choke slam and back senton to Dion. Moose with Low Down for a near fall. Saquon with a shot to the throat. Moose with a kick. Trick with a pop up punch and Oba tags in. Evans with a frog splash but the cover is broken up by everyone else. Osiris tags in and he tags in James. James with a catapult into a back body drop by Osiris. Saquon with a leg drop off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Everyone tags in and they set for the Quadruple toss Powr bomb and then Oba and Moose catch Evans and he hits a double cutter. Oba with an uppercut but he hits Evans by accident. Moose accidentally spears Oba. Saquon with a drop kick through the ropes to Moose. Trick gets on the apron and he watches them hit the toss Quad Power Bomb for the three count.
Winners: Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Cutler James, and Osiris Griffin
After the match, Hank and Tank come out and they go after Dark State.
