Kyle Fletcher Signs Multi-Year AEW Deal – Current TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher is set to remain in AEW for years to come after signing a new multi-year contract with the company this past spring. The news came shortly after Fletcher successfully defended his title against Tomohiro Ishii on Saturday’s live episode of Collision.
According to the report, the 26-year-old’s new contract is considered a “big money deal,” particularly significant given his age and growing profile in the wrestling world. Fletcher’s rise accelerated in late 2023 when his Aussie Open tag partner Mark Davis suffered an injury at WrestleDream. This led Fletcher to fully align with the Don Callis Family in November, setting the stage for his singles run.
The Australian star captured the vacant Ring of Honor Television Championship at Final Battle in December 2023, holding it until June 2024 when he lost to CMLL’s Atlantis Jr. During that time, he faced top-tier opponents in AEW, including Will Ospreay, Chris Jericho, Swerve Strickland, and Konosuke Takeshita.
Fletcher also made impressive showings in tournaments, reaching the semifinals of both the 2023 Continental Classic—where he was defeated by Ospreay—and the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, losing to Hangman Page.
His biggest AEW singles achievement to date came last week on Collision, where he captured the TNT Championship by defeating Dustin Rhodes in a brutal street fight. With his future in AEW secured, Fletcher now looks poised to continue building on his momentum as one of the promotion’s fastest-rising stars.
