Vickie Guerrero Reportedly Set for WWE Return, Potentially Involved in Evolution PLE – Vickie Guerrero, one of WWE’s most iconic authority figures and managers, is reportedly preparing to return to the company in the coming weeks. According to Fightful Select, Guerrero has told multiple people that she will be involved with WWE again “for some things” in the near future, though exact details of her role have not yet been confirmed.
The report stops short of specifying what Guerrero’s involvement will be, but the timing has fueled speculation that she may appear at the upcoming WWE Evolution Premium Live Event, scheduled for Sunday, July 13 in Atlanta, Georgia. If true, her appearance would add another layer of nostalgia and star power to the all-women’s show.
Guerrero’s history with WWE dates back to 2005, when she began appearing regularly on television following the passing of her husband, WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. She quickly became a central figure on both RAW and SmackDown, eventually serving as General Manager for both brands. Her infamous catchphrase — “Excuse me!” — remains one of the most recognizable in WWE history.
Following her WWE departure in 2014, Guerrero made occasional appearances on the independent circuit and later joined AEW in 2019. There, she took on managerial roles and appeared on AEW Dark commentary. At one point, she revealed that WWE had cut ties with her after learning she was working with AEW. However, any lingering tension appears to have cooled, as she was seen in the audience at a SmackDown taping last September.
As of now, neither WWE nor Vickie Guerrero have officially confirmed her return, and Fightful noted that WWE did not respond to requests for comment.
If Guerrero does appear at Evolution, it would mark her first WWE-related role in several years and would bring another legacy name to a show already drawing attention for high-profile matches and rumored surprise appearances.
