The July 13 episode of WWE RAW featured a major character shift as Maxxine Dupri turns on Alpha Academy in a dramatic in-ring segment. Dupri made it clear that she has moved on from Otis and Akira Tozawa, choosing to fully align herself with The Vision.
The moment followed her involvement in last week’s match between The Street Profits and The Vision. After causing a distraction, Dupri continued her change in attitude. On WWE RAW, she confirmed her decision by standing alongside The Vision, embracing her new role and continuing her heel turn.
Maxxine Dupri Turns on Alpha Academy During WWE RAW Segment
The Vision made their way to the ring, with Logan Paul introducing Dupri as the “Vision Queen.” The segment quickly took a personal turn when Otis and Akira Tozawa came out to confront her. They tried to convince Dupri to return to Alpha Academy and leave The Vision behind.
Dupri asked The Vision to step aside so she could hear them out. Tozawa spoke first and warned her about Austin Theory. He told Dupri that she was being used and reminded her of who she used to be. Dupri admitted that she still cared about Alpha Academy, but she defended her decision.
“You told me that if I was with Austin, then I couldn’t be with you guys… I just don’t think that’s fair. You don’t even know him,” Dupri said.
Otis then tried to reason with her. He explained that he only wanted to protect her because he did not trust Theory. His words became emotional as he struggled to express himself. Before he could finish, Austin Theory interrupted and mocked Otis.
Theory insulted Otis and questioned how someone like him could ever be with Dupri. That pushed Otis to react. He attacked Theory, which led to a bigger fight. Bron Breakker joined in and quickly took control, even throwing Tozawa over the announce table.
Otis fought back with power. He knocked down both Theory and Breakker, hit a Stinger Splash, and sent Breakker over the top rope. As Otis prepared to continue the attack, Dupri stepped between them. She pleaded for him to stop and suggested they could still fix things.
The moment created tension as it seemed like the situation might calm down. Instead, Theory used the distraction and delivered a low blow to Otis. With Otis down, Dupri made her final choice.
She pushed Otis away and embraced Theory as the crowd reacted with loud chants. The segment ended with Logan Paul handing Theory brass knuckles, which he used to strike Otis. Breakker followed up with a running spear to close the attack.
This confirmed the shift as Maxxine Dupri turns on Alpha Academy and fully commits to The Vision moving forward on WWE RAW.
