He first spoke to Maxxine Dupri, praising her growth and acknowledging that she achieved something he never did by becoming a singles champion. Gable admitted his past treatment of her was “pathetic” and took full responsibility for his actions.
Turning to Akira Tozawa, Gable praised his resilience and “fighting spirit,” admitting he tried to suppress him rather than support him. He also acknowledged that Tozawa never deserved that kind of treatment.
The most emotional moment came with Otis. Gable reflected on their long history together, describing him as a loyal friend who would have done anything for him. He referenced their tag team success and personal milestones, admitting he sacrificed their friendship in pursuit of the Intercontinental Championship.
Gable then extended his hand, hoping for forgiveness. Otis appeared conflicted and nearly accepted the apology, but Maxxine Dupri intervened and stopped him. She accused Gable of being selfish and said the apology was more about his guilt than genuine remorse.
Dupri reminded Otis and Tozawa of the struggles they endured under Gable’s leadership and made it clear that Alpha Academy no longer needed him.
In the end, the group walked away together, leaving Gable alone in the ring. While Otis showed signs of hesitation, Maxxine’s stance ensured the reunion did not happen, leaving Gable’s redemption story unresolved for now.
