WWE appears to have set the stage for a notable return following a vignette that aired on 7/13 RAW. The segment featured a silhouette strongly resembling Big Cass, along with a clear date: August 3, the RAW episode following SummerSlam.
While the vignette did not mention him by name, several clues pointed in that direction. “SAWFT” signs were visible, along with fans wearing merchandise associated with his previous WWE run, leaving little doubt about who the company is teasing.
Return Comes After Years Away From WWE
If confirmed, this would mark Big Cass’s first appearance in WWE since his release in June 2018. At the time, reports cited backstage issues, including concerns about his attitude during a European tour and deviations from creative plans on television.
Since then, he has rebuilt his career outside WWE, including a run in AEW under the name Big Bill. During his time there, he aligned with Chris Jericho’s group and gained valuable experience while working to reestablish himself in the industry.
His time away from WWE also coincided with personal challenges, which he has openly discussed in interviews over the years.
August 3 Targeted For Comeback
The teaser points to the August 3 episode of RAW as the likely date for his return, positioning it as a follow-up to SummerSlam. WWE often uses that post-event show to introduce major developments, making it a fitting stage for a comeback.
While the company has yet to officially confirm the identity behind the vignette, all signs indicate that Big Cass is on his way back to WWE programming.
