Carlos Silva Provides an Update on TNA TV Deal – TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva remains confident that a new television deal is on the horizon for the promotion. Speaking on the Battleground Podcast following a successful Slammiversary weekend, Silva offered a detailed update on TNA’s ongoing efforts to secure a new broadcast partner—one that could significantly elevate the brand’s visibility.
While TNA currently airs weekly on AXS TV, a network owned by Anthem Sports & Entertainment (TNA’s parent company), Silva reiterated that the promotion is actively pursuing a new agreement that would allow TNA iMPACT to air live every week. According to Silva, the company is seeking a deal in the range of $10 million annually and is aiming to finalize terms within the next 60 to 90 days.
“You know, I think every day it gets closer,” Silva said. “I certainly think Slammiversary and the kind of fan, social, the buzz… all of it matters. But like all of these things—and I’ve done it throughout my career—you need to work hard every single day to be there. And if you work hard every single day to be there and you perform and the product’s great, then you get lucky.”
Silva emphasized that “luck” isn’t arbitrary—it comes from persistence and delivering a strong product week after week.
“Look, everyone notices — the media space is about buzz,” he continued. “It’s about creating this feeling of getting bigger and growing. And that’s exactly what we’re doing. So, is it going to help? Yeah. Is it done yet? No, it’s not done yet. But I’m working on it today and I’m working on it tomorrow. And it’s my focus to get that done. And there’s a couple of different options that we’re working on, and we’re going to keep pushing every day.”
The timing of these negotiations comes as TNA is seeing renewed attention thanks to its ongoing crossover with WWE NXT. Trick Williams currently holds the TNA World Championship, while Jacy Jayne captured the Knockouts Championship at Slammiversary, creating unprecedented crossover buzz between the two brands.
While TNA’s current programming remains available on AXS TV and the TNA+ streaming service, a new television deal would mark a major shift for the promotion—possibly allowing them to expand beyond niche platforms and reach a broader, live-viewing audience.
