Trick Williams Calls Out The Undertaker, Gets Chokeslammed – On the July 22 episode of WWE NXT, current TNA Champion Trick Williams delivered one of the boldest promos of his career—aimed directly at WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker. The audacious moment led to a surprise appearance by The Deadman himself, culminating in a chokeslam that left Trick laid out in the ring.
Trick, fresh off his TNA Slammiversary main event win, bragged about carrying both WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling on his back. Standing in the middle of the NXT ring with the TNA Championship over his shoulder, he declared himself the greatest TNA Champion of all time after defeating two of the company’s top stars on Sunday. He acknowledged the animosity he feels from the TNA locker room, adding that he’s knocking down anyone who stands in his way—including the NXT faction LFG, who confronted him the previous week.
According to Trick, LFG couldn’t handle him and ran to “tell their coach”—which turned out to be none other than The Undertaker. Trick acknowledged the Hall of Famer’s legacy but fired shots, claiming Taker never held down two brands at once. Trick even accused The Undertaker of going soft under the influence of mentoring LFG. Then, with the ultimate bravado, he said he was the only man with the “kahunas” to call out The Undertaker.
The arena went dark as the signature gong echoed through the venue. The Undertaker emerged and entered the ring, face to face with Trick.
“What do we have here? A dead man walking?” Taker asked, mocking Trick’s arrogance. He complimented Trick’s title, jewelry, and swagger but said the one thing missing was respect. Taker reminded Trick of the hungry champion he used to be and warned that his current attitude would lead to his downfall. He emphasized that he’s seen many like Trick crumble when their ego overtook their focus.
Trick didn’t back down. He dismissed Taker’s LFG crew, saying none of them—or anyone in WWE—could match his star power. Taker responded with a warning: “You’re a little too light in the ass to step up to an OG.” He threatened to “flip the switch” and make Trick famous.
Trick took a swing, but Taker blocked it and delivered a thunderous chokeslam, standing tall as the crowd erupted.
Whether this leads to a match remains to be seen. What’s clear is that Trick Williams’ arrogance finally caught up to him—courtesy of the Deadman.
