
Sami Zayn Advances in 2025 King of the Ring Tournament – WWE officially unveiled the complete bracket for the 2025 King of the Ring tournament during the June 9th episode of RAW. The format mirrors the 2025 Queen of the Ring structure, featuring two fatal four-way matches per side—one from each brand. Winners of these matches will compete in the semifinals, with the final set for Night of Champions on June 28th.
The winner of the men’s tournament will receive a World Title match at SummerSlam.
Left Side of the Bracket:
- RAW Fatal 4-Way: Sami Zayn vs. Penta vs. Bron Breakker vs. Dominik Mysterio
- SmackDown Fatal 4-Way: Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. Aleister Black vs. Carmelo Hayes
Right Side of the Bracket:
- SmackDown Fatal 4-Way: Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest vs. Andrade vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
- RAW Fatal 4-Way: Sheamus vs. Rusev vs. Bronson Reed vs. TBD
Match Result: Sami Zayn Advances
The tournament opened with the first-round fatal four-way on RAW, featuring Sami Zayn, Penta, Bron Breakker, and Dominik Mysterio. During the match, LA Knight interfered, targeting Breakker, who had been in control at the time.
The interference led to Zayn pinning Dominik Mysterio, securing his place in the semifinal round. He will next face the winner of the upcoming SmackDown fatal four-way involving Orton, Knight, Black, and Hayes.
WWE has not yet announced the schedule for the remaining first-round matches.
