Jade Cargill Advances to Queen of the Ring Finals – The final for the Queen of the Ring Tournament is officially set following the June 23 episode of WWE RAW, as Jade Cargill defeated Roxanne Perez in a hard-hitting semifinal match to earn her place opposite Asuka in this Saturday’s final at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.
The match opened with mind games, as Perez initially stalled by exiting the ring. Once the action began, Jade used her power advantage, including a vertical choke lift and a backbreaker, while Perez countered with strategic targeting of Cargill’s leg. At one point, Perez dropkicked Jade into the ring steps and followed up with focused offense, repeatedly working the injured knee and keeping the powerhouse grounded.
Despite the damage, Jade fought back, delivering a fallaway slam, a spinebuster, and a chokeslam. However, her compromised leg kept the outcome in doubt. Perez nearly pulled off the upset with a well-executed La Mistica and Scorpio Rising combination for a dramatic near fall. The two exchanged stiff strikes before Perez attempted her signature Pop Rox. Cargill countered with a bicycle kick, a powerbomb, and finally landed Jaded to secure the pinfall victory.
After the match, Jade celebrated next to the Queen of the Ring crown. Her finals opponent, Asuka, then made her entrance and posed beside her. The confrontation marked the first face-to-face moment between the two finalists, building anticipation for what will be their first-ever singles match.
Asuka, who returned from injury earlier this month, earned her place in the final after defeating Alexa Bliss and then emerging victorious in the other semifinal bracket. Saturday’s Queen of the Ring Finals at Night of Champions will mark a career milestone for both women: Asuka seeking another accolade in her decorated WWE career, and Jade aiming to cement her legacy less than two years after her WWE debut.
