During the June 23 episode of RAW, AJ Styles approached RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to discuss his scheduled title match. Pearce informed Styles that the bout had been officially canceled because Dominik is not medically cleared to compete.
No specific details were given regarding the nature or severity of Mysterio’s injury. However, Mysterio did appear backstage on RAW during a segment alongside Roxanne Perez and fellow Judgment Day members Finn Bálor, J.D. McDonagh, and Raquel Rodriguez.
Later in the show, Mysterio participated in a brief backstage interview with Jackie Redmond. After taking the mic, he struggled to speak over the boos from the crowd and managed only a short message: “I miss Liv,” referring to the injured Liv Morgan. He then added, “My ribs aren’t at 100 percent,” before handing the mic back and walking away.
