WWE European Tour 2025 (Road to WrestleMania 41)

WWE European Tour 2025 (Road to WrestleMania 41)

WWE European Tour 2025 (Road to WrestleMania 41) – WWE will tour Europe for three weeks in March, as part of their Road to WrestleMania 41 series. The tour will see WWE performers fight live across cities in Spain, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Austria, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England.

It’s the first time this tour will come before WrestleMania, as previous tours have been in the aftermath of the biggest WWE event of the year, allowing fans to meet the new champions and all the stars from the showpiece event.

This time around, European fans and players from GGBet will be directly involved in the buildup to WrestleMania; watching and cheering their favorites as they perform at the top of their game, with an appearance at WrestleMania 41 on their minds.

Europe loves WWE. Previous live events have always been sold out and attended by eager fans just happy to see their favorite stars. However, by touring Europe after WrestleMania in the past, fans only got to see the stars in rest mode after a grueling run of fights that culminated in WrestleMania. This reorder feels like a long-overdue reward for fans’ loyalty.

Here’s what we know about the tour, and what we think you should look out for.

Anticipated appearances by top WWE Superstars like Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER

Fans can expect to see the biggest stars performing at “Road to WrestleMania”, Monday Night Raw, and Friday Night Smackdown events. Here are some of the stars that WWE have announced:

  • CM Punk – For the first time since 2013, the veteran showstopper will be on hand to thrill European fans at Road to WrestleMania events across 4 cities: Belfast, Nottingham, Vienna, and Amsterdam.
  • Cody Rhodes – Fans will see the Undisputed WWE and WWE Universal Champion perform live at multiple events, including Friday Smackdown dates.
  • Gunther – The Ring General will be on show in Barcelona, Belfast, Vienna, and Amsterdam.
  • Liv Morgan – The three events we know for the Women’s World Champion are Barcelona, Belfast, and the O2 Arena in London.
  • Rhea Ripley
  • Seth Rollins
  • Damian Priest
  • “Main Event” Jey Uso
  • Drew McIntyre

Potential storylines heading into WrestleMania 41

WrestleMania 41 will be WWE’s biggest ever yet, and many potential storylines have been building up. Here are some of the most exciting ones:

What will CM Punk ask for?

Everyone has been on the edge of their seats wondering what CM Punk will cash in his owed favor from Paul Heyman for, and there’s no better time to reveal his wish than at Wrestling’s biggest event of the year.

Could Punk make a move for one of the main events at WrestleMania? There have been rumors of a potential triple-threat challenge for the Undisputed Champion title vs Cody Rhodes and John Cena.

As of now, he has no clear path to 41, especially if he goes on to lose the Elimination Chamber match. With this being his last chance to be the main event, he could make a play for it. And who better to work the magic he desperately needs than the Wiseman Paul Heyman?

Could Jey Stage an Upset?

Gunther vs Jey Uso has been coming, and now fans will see it on the big stage. Could this be when Jey turns the story of his enmity with Gunther around?

Gunther vs Jey Uso is not a new fight. We’ve seen it many times, and it’s been the same outcome – Gunther victorious. It’s almost become boring to see at this point, however, no one will be complaining if at the end of April, Jey Uso is the new World Heavyweight Champion, having finally defeated his arch-nemesis.

Could John Cena do it?

The former face of WWE is running on his last fumes. It’s his last opportunity to do it on the big stage, and there’s no one better to face than the current face of the WWE Universe, Cody Rhodes, for a shot at a record-setting 17th World Title.

It would be a fitting end to an illustrious glorious career inside the ring. However, he has to first get through the Elimination Chamber match to get to Cody. It’s a big task for part-time wrestler, John. But if someone could do it, it would be him.

Impact of the European tour on WWE’s global fanbase

WWE’s decision to tour Europe on the Road to WrestleMania could impact the way WWE relates with its global audiences in many ways, both immediately and long-term. In summary, everyone is hoping for this to be a huge success, especially the global fans, but here are some ways it can impact the brand and fanbase:

  • Deepen fan loyalty to the brand: This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen fan loyalty to the WWE brand, especially if it becomes a hit. European fans will love it, and fans in other regions will hope for a similar opportunity.
  • Could open the door for more of these tours: Following from the first point, if this tour is a hit business-wise and with the fans, it could convince WWE to make it a thing and take more risks with audiences in markets outside North America.
  • More convenient streaming time for European audiences (but less so for the American fanbase): It will be interesting to see how WWE’s American audience takes to streaming events at unusual times, due to the new Netflix setup.
  • It could affect live conversations on social media due to the time difference: Live social media chatter about the matches may also take a hit due to the timing for the American fanbase. But we will all be following to see how that plays out.

New faces: There have been reports of WWE reaching out to local wrestlers in the cities they’ll be visiting to be a part of the show somehow. We don’t know yet what that will look like, but it could be a great way to get the local community even more invested in the events.
