Becky Lynch Taking Extended Leave from WWE

Becky Lynch Taking Extended Leave from WWE – Becky Lynch has dominated headlines this week as speculation about her future in professional wrestling intensifies.

A significant talking point has been the potential for Lynch to jump to AEW following her anticipated hiatus from WWE, with her contract set to expire on June 1. Chris Jericho recently weighed in on this possibility. However, it is reportedly not expected that Lynch will join AEW.

Lynch concluded her WWE commitments on Monday’s episode of Raw, where she lost to Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in a steel cage match.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Lynch’s leave will be extended. Meltzer said, “Becky Lynch did not renew. Becky Lynch is taking an extended leave. From what I was told, it’s not like a short period of time. She was looking for a long period of time out. If he’s [Seth Rollins] not on the road, it makes sense for her not to be on the road. They can’t be hurting for money or anything where they need it right now, and maybe she’s looking at other things, and maybe she’s not.”

As of now, Lynch has not made any public comments regarding the expiration of her WWE contract.
