Lil Wayne Set to Appear at WWE WrestleMania 40 – During Raw’s WrestleMania 40 go-home show, it was revealed that Lil Wayne will be attending this weekend’s event in Philadelphia. WrestleMania is set to take place at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday (April 6) and Sunday (April 7).
Wayne made an appearance at Monday’s Raw in Brooklyn, where he was featured in a backstage segment with Jey Uso. During the segment, Wayne confirmed his attendance at WrestleMania and announced that he will be premiering a new single at the event.
The 41-year-old Wayne is a highly acclaimed rapper and has won five Grammy Awards throughout his career. In 2009, his album “Tha Carter III” received widespread recognition, winning the Grammy for Best Rap Album among others.
Additionally, rapper Meek Mill, a Philadelphia native, is expected to be involved in WrestleMania. Mill’s song “Dreams and Nightmares” has become an anthem for the city of Philadelphia.
With the full cards for WrestleMania 40 now announced, each night will begin at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, with pre-shows airing from 5-7 p.m. Eastern on both nights.
