Backstage News on The Motor City Machine Guns’ Future – The Motor City Machine Guns, comprising Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, are set to compete in their final contracted match for TNA at the April 18th episode of TNA Impact.
Following this match, they will become free agents immediately. There is speculation within TNA that the duo will join AEW, with AEW’s first-ever Dynasty pay-per-view scheduled just a few days later on April 21st in St. Louis, Missouri. Notably, this event will feature the finals of the tag team title tournament.
The Motor City Machine Guns have been integral to TNA’s history, having been a staple tag team in the promotion for a considerable period. Both Shelley and Sabin have had single-championship reigns during their latest tenure in TNA. Shelley recently hinted at impending departure from TNA.
