WWE References Sting’s Retirement On Tonight’s RAW – During the March 4th episode of WWE RAW, Michael Cole referenced Sting’s last match, sending a congratulations to Sting for wrapping up his nearly 40 year career. Cole said “thanks for the memories, congratulations Sting.”

Pat McAfee said Sting had an “epic match” at AEW Revolution.

Sting was victorious in his last match, teaming with Darby Allin to defeat The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson).

Sting only wrestled four times in a WWE ring, and retired for the first time in his 2016 WWE Hall of Fame speech due to an injury suffered at WWE Night of Champions 2015 against Seth Rollins.

Sting came out of retirement at AEW Revolution 2021 and was an active competitor for three years in AEW before finishing his career at Revolution 2023.
