Tama Tonga to Join The Bloodline? – The Bloodline, WWE’s dominant faction led by Roman Reigns, may be expanding its ranks with the addition of a notable free agent, Tama Tonga.
After an illustrious career spanning nearly 14 years in NJPW, Tonga has decided to join WWE, bidding farewell to his tenure with the Japanese promotion after his final match in a tag team bout this past Saturday.
Tonga’s decision to join WWE marks a significant milestone in his career, particularly considering that he turned down an offer from the company seven years ago to remain loyal to NJPW and continue teaming with his brother, Tanga Loa. Notably, Tonga and his brother are the sons of WWE legend Haku.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Tama Tonga is considered part of the “family” by Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Reigns, and others associated with the Bloodline. Consequently, the idea of incorporating Tonga into the faction in some capacity down the line has been under consideration.
Currently comprised of The Rock, Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa, the Bloodline’s potential expansion with Tama Tonga brings an exciting prospect for WWE fans. While the exact timeline for Tonga’s debut with the company remains uncertain, his impending arrival has sparked speculation and anticipation for what lies ahead for the formidable faction.
